Do I recommend Cookies From Scratch? ABSOLUTELY!! My daughter's baby shower had an "up north" theme. Not exactly an easy one to do. To say Laura nailed it is an understaement. From the traditional baby bottles, to the adorable outfit with a little fish on, to the onesie with a Rhinelander Hodag they were amazing works of art!! Laura made the most beautiful cookies for a bridal shower I hosted last weekend! I was able to provide her with some inspirational photos of cookies, and she used her creative talents and baking skills to come up with a delightful assortment of cookies. Not only were they pretty...they tasted great too! She is very professional, flexible and reliable. Her cookies are very reasonably priced. She even added a small box of heart shapped cookies at N/C for us to place on the key lime pie slices we served for dessert! Such a thopughtful, nice touch! She really has a huge attention to details. I highly recommend Laura for any specialty bakery needs. She does more than just cookies! Be sure to ask her about cakes, pies and cupcakes too! Laura - You did a fantastic job handling not only the desserts but the dessert table(s) for our wedding! The desserts were as delicious as they were beautiful. Your pecan bar is the best we've ever had and the cheesecake is second to none! We had a cheesecake tasting at a well know local cheesecake bakery before our wedding but after tasting yours, the choice was clear! Laura, of Cookies From Scratch, took all the worry and guesswork out of dessert for our wedding. She even did a personalized tasting for us. After selecting what we wanted, we gave her a number of people and the telephone number for the manager for the hall and she took care of the rest. It was an amazing feeling arriving to the church and finding a beautiful tray of cookies there just for the girls! Then to get to the venue that day and see the amazing and heartfelt dessert tables that she had created for us. It was a wonderful, stress free and delicious experience! The only suggestion in working with Cookies From Scratch? Order more cheesecake! First of all, I was impressed with all the care you take to package the cookies to ensure safe arrival, as well as the directions and ziplock bag to ensure freshness. Hi Laura, Well, the cake was a major success! So after dinner, they brought it to the table, and everyone ooo'd and ahhh'd. (: The manager stood there too while I read the Facebook post out loud that described what she wanted in a cake. By the end, she was in laughing tears and the manager (woman) was teared up. I offered our server a piece and she happily accepted. She actually came back and said ther were two more staff that really wanted to try it too.
