First of all the cookies were received as a beautiful wrapped gift. So tastefully wrapped. Thank you The cookies were well received by the recipients. After reviewing several vendors for dessert and sweet treats I choose Laura from Cookies From Scratch to provide cookies and cupcakes for our wedding. I was living back East at the time when we spoke and I lost her name and contact info. I never gave up untill I found her again because I was coming to Wisconsin to meet all my vendors and for tastings 3 days before Christmas. In the short time Laura was able to bake cupcakes and cookies for us which we picked up outside due to covid. We ate them all during our drive home. The bars were my husband's favorite and we knew she was going to be a hit. Laura kept in touch from the beginning to our event. Shes very conscious of her work and how she displays her cookies and cupcakes which I love. She works with your colors if you have a theme and I told her to decorate her way. Well the result was amazing. I ordered 3 different flavors of cupcakes and an assortment of wedding cookies and bars. Just amazing. The table was stunning with her display and she did framed cards with the names of her cookies which tasted out of this world. I ordered favor boxs for guests to take home cookies which was a mistake because none were used. The cupcakes and cookies were gone before the night ended. Do I recommend Cookies From Scratch? ABSOLUTELY!! My daughter's baby shower had an "up north" theme. Not exactly an easy one to do. To say Laura nailed it is an understaement. From the traditional baby bottles, to the adorable outfit with a little fish on, to the onesie with a Rhinelander Hodag they were amazing works of art!! Laura made the most beautiful cookies for a bridal shower I hosted last weekend! I was able to provide her with some inspirational photos of cookies, and she used her creative talents and baking skills to come up with a delightful assortment of cookies. Not only were they pretty...they tasted great too! She is very professional, flexible and reliable. Her cookies are very reasonably priced. She even added a small box of heart shapped cookies at N/C for us to place on the key lime pie slices we served for dessert! Such a thopughtful, nice touch! She really has a huge attention to details. I highly recommend Laura for any specialty bakery needs. She does more than just cookies! Be sure to ask her about cakes, pies and cupcakes too!
